Chair Updates

Kristin Roberts greeting and announcements. Gave update on A&P Kickoff Retreat, new website.
Announced plans for Distinguished A&P Awards
Gave updates from Senior Leadership meetings.
A quorum was established and confirmed by the Secretary.
June Meeting minutes were approved. 

 

Committee Updates

  • Welfare Committee: 
Initiatives for 2026-2027 include employee wellness and engagement, childcare and family support. Contact welfare@auburn.edu
  • Nominations and Elections Committee: 
Initiatives for 2026-2027 fall lunch and learn, campus wide digital board announcements, postcard to all A&P Employees. Contact apnecom@auburn.edu
  • Grievance Committee:
Creating a committee handbook, consulting with UHR on a toolkit for grievance hearings, create an informational flyer for the grievance process
  • Professional Development Committee:

Reviewed the Year-end members survey and announced there will be a specific Professional Development survey to address what A&P members feel are important initiatives for the year. 

 

Speaker Presentations


Rhett Hobart went over the past and upcoming events on campus (Argentina v. Iceland soccer game, Ella Langley concert, sports card show, Zach Bryan concert) and discussed the Jordan Hare North Project.
Ever Auburn
Jeremy Roberts spoke about the Gameday adjustments for the fall because of the construction. 
No other A&P new business noted.
