HS Visitation Day Registration Deadline October 3rd
We are pleased to invite you to our Annual Minority High School Visitation Day to be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 8:30 AM until 2:30 PM CST in the Auburn University Student Center. This event is being sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs in the College of Sciences and Mathematics (COSAM).
COSAM’s Annual Minority High School Visitation Day is designed to provide a forum where minority juniors, seniors, and transfers have an opportunity to learn more about the sciences and mathematics disciplines, including pre-health, and to obtain first hand information regarding the application process, financial aid and scholarship opportunities at Auburn University. Students will be able to meet COSAM and Auburn University administrators, faculty, staff and students in a small setting; and to obtain timely and accurate information from representatives from the Office of Undergraduate Recruiting and Scholarships and the Office of Student Financial Services. Other activities will include presentations by COSAM academic advisors and officers of student organizations. In addition, students will learn more about the academic and social support provided by COSAM’s Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs. A guided tour of the campus will cap the Day’s activities. Lunch will be provided for all participants.
