Albrecht and Huang part of AMSTI team awarded $390,000 grant

Alabama Mathematics, Science, and Technology Initiative (AMSTI), Mathematics and Science Partnership has been awarded a grant in the amount of $390,000 by the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE). The award period is from October 1, 2015, through September 30, 2016, and the grant can be twice renewed to cover a three year period. Lead-PIs are Dr. Allen Landers from Physics, Dr. Marilyn Strutchens from Curriculum & Teaching, and Elizabeth Hickman from AMSTI. Our colleagues Drs. Ulrich Albrecht and Huajun Huang from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics are part of the team.
