T-Y Tam has been invited to give a plenary talk at the Conference "Recent Advances in Linear Algebra and Graph Theory," to be held at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on March 5-6, 2016.

The conference is in honor the careers of Professor Ron Smith who is a linear algebraist upon the occasion of his retirement. He received his PhD in 1976 from Auburn under Emilie Haynsworth. He has been supportive to Auburn. For your information, we have Haynsworth Fellowship in our department, which is used to recognize our outstanding graduate students.
