Perry establishes the Dr. J. Earl Perry Endowed Summer Graduate Award
Dr. J. Earl Perry has established the Dr. J. Earl Perry Endowed Summer Graduate Award. This endowment will generate around $2,000 annually and the funds will likely be available in the summer of 2018. To be eligible for consideration for this graduate award, a graduate student must
(1) have taken a minimum of 18 credit hours of math or stat graduate courses and be registered for at least one hour during the summer semester he/she receives the award;
(2) have a minimum overall college GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Dr. Perry received both his MS and PhD in math from Auburn in 1967 and 1971, respectively. He has been providing continual and strong support to the Department.
