Couch awarded Distinguished Faculty Teaching Fellowship at Lamar University

PhD graduate Dr. P. J. Couch ('12) has been awarded the Distinguished Faculty Teaching Fellowship at Lamar University. This prestigious three-year term fellowship is to recognize, reward, and support faculty who have demonstrated outstanding performance in instruction across an academic career. The award includes a very nice financial benefit of more than $40,000.

Dr. Couch received his PhD from Auburn under the supervision of Professor Curt Lindner and is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at Lamar University. He just gave a job hunting presentation last week to DMS graduate students.
