Tiger Giving Day
What if we could address one of the world's top health crises with a solution developed at Auburn?Every day, millions of people must drink water tainted with naturally-occurring arsenic. They are plagued with higher rates of cancer, disfiguring skin conditions, and a host of chronic health problems. But at Auburn, we are working on an affordable solution.
We need to move forward quickly on this research, and we can with the purchase of a specialized piece of equipment - a planetary ball mill grinder. You'll have the opportunity to help us get started today through Tiger Giving Day. We are excited to be taking part in their fundraising event, a day devoted to securing resources to make a real difference. Since the window of opportunity is short - just 24 hours - everything will be done online.
I’d like to invite you to join me in supporting this project by making a gift and by sharing the information via social media and email with others you think might be interested. Our Facebook event page can be found here. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Thanks in advance for helping make this a reality!
Best regards,
Dr. Ming-Kuo Lee
