Students are Ready for Success with Plainsmen’s Prep
On Monday, August 5, 2019, the Academic Success Kick-off welcomed incoming students to this year’s Plainsmen’s Prep Program. During the intensive math-review program, students attend classes mixed with engaging learning opportunities to increase their math placement score.
The program includes more than 20 hours of instruction from the College of Sciences and Mathematics Professors Jennifer Stone and Lora Merchant paired with nine hours of review from Plainsmen’s Prep Leaders and 10 hours of group study and optional drop-in hours. The Plainsmen’s Prep Program supports timely graduation for students.
Students even have an opportunity to move in early and become acclimated to the campus before remaining freshman arrive.
