Q: What year did you start at COSAM?
A: I started my position in COSAM 2013.
Q: What is your favorite part of your job?
A: When our students come into the office to share good news with us. “I am going to medical school at UAB!” or “my research paper is getting published” for example.
Q: What is the best advice you have ever received at COSAM and from whom?
A: My work family encouraged me to apply for an academic advisor position. I am so glad I did!
Q: Where are you originally from?
A: I’m originally from the fire hydrant capitol of the world, Albertville, Alabama.
Q: What words best describe you?
A: Ornithophobic, creative and enthusiastic.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Reading, looking for cross-stitch patterns, watching tennis and cooking.
Q: What is the one thing you do when no one is around?
A: Talk to my dog. A lot.
Q: What is your favorite place on campus?
A: Our tailgate tent on home game Saturdays.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Zapp’s Cajun Crawtators.
Q: What is your dream travel destination?
A: Wimbledon!

A: There was this one phone call…

A: Valerie Tisdale. She makes me happy.
