Auburn Hosts SIAM Southeastern Atlantic Section Conference
Auburn University will host the 44th Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Southeastern Atlantic Section Conference on March 14-15, 2020.
Participants will be able to attend plenary talks by Professor Oscar Bruno, Department of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, Caltech; Professor Jianfeng Lu, Department of Mathematics, Duke University; and Professor James Nagy, Department of Mathematics, Emory University.
Mini-symposiums will be held throughout Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15. A poster session will also take place on Saturday evening, March 14.
Graduate students will receive awards for the best presentations.
All sessions take place in the Ralph Brown Draughon Library and Mell Classroom Building.
The organizing committee includes: Yanzhao Cao (Conference Chair, SIAM Southeastern Atlantic Section President); Dmitry Glotov (Auburn University); Thi Thao Phuong Hoang (Auburn University); Junshan Lin (co-chair, Auburn University); Hans Werner Van Wyk (Auburn University); Guannan Zhang (co-chair, Oak Ridge National Lab); and Kelsey Ulmer (SIAM Auburn University Chapter President).
