J. V. Ortiz named a top journal reviewer

Vincent Ortiz, the Ruth W. Molette Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, has been selected as a Top Reviewer for The Journal of Chemical Physics (JCP) for 2019.

“JCP editors reply on the expertise and critical evaluation of manuscripts by reviewers as an essential component in ensuring the quality of the articles published. Top Reviewers are chosen based on their dedicated service, the high quality of their reviews, timeliness, and reliability,” explained Tianquan (Tim) Lian, editor-in-chief of JCP.

Ortiz, who has been with Auburn since 2006, was selected as a Fellow of the American Chemical Society in 2019 and a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in 2017.
