COSAM’s Office of Student Services welcomes students back
“This a fun way to start off the morning,” said Victoria Weeks, a pre-optometry student in the College of Sciences and Mathematics (COSAM). “COSAM really is the best college at this university!”
Academic Advisors welcomed students with a physically distanced free breakfast on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, in front of the Sciences Center Classrooms building.
“We are here to welcome our students back this first week of the semester,” shared COSAM’s Director of Student Services Beth Yarbrough. “Students can stop by, pick up breakfast, meet their academic advisors, and connect with other students.”
Sarah Jordan Oliver, a pre-dentistry major, was on her way to the Sciences Center Lab.
“It is great to stop by and get breakfast as I go to work as student employee in the lab building,” Oliver said.
Students were excited to begin a new semester.
“I am a COSAM Peer Advisor, and this is an opportunity for students to safely connect with students and advisors,” explained Aubrey Taylor who is studying laboratory science. “It is a wonderful way for all of us to start off this new semester.”
