Auburn University President Christopher B. Roberts has appointed Bobby R. Woodard as interim senior vice president for business and administration and chief operating officer and Bryan Elmore as interim vice president for finance and chief financial officer, effective Nov. 1.
A federal court has granted a preliminary injunction blocking the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's final rule that would have ended the Duration of Status (D/S) system for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors. As of September 16, 2026, the rule is not in effect while litigation continues, and students and exchange visitors should continue to monitor updates and consult Auburn University International Students and Scholars Services for the latest developments.
