2024-25 FAFSA Delayed Until December 2023
Due to significant changes to the 2024-25 FAFSA, the launch date has been extended from October 1 until December. We will update here when the exact date has been determind. In the meantime, if you plan to file the 2024-25 FAFSA and you do not yet have an FSA ID, please plan to create an account in advance. Others who will be providing information on your FAFSA (parents, spouse, if applicable) will also need to set up an account.
Federal Fresh Start Program
The U.S. Department of Education has launched a “Fresh Start” program for borrowers who previously defaulted on federal student loans held by the Department of Education. If you have been ineligible for Title IV federal aid due to a federal loan default, you may reach out to our office at email@example.com to see if you meet the qualifications for the Fresh Start program.
Refunds are direct deposited to the bank account that you provide on the AU Access My Finances tab.
