The Alabama Natural Heritage Program has been contracted to do complete biological inventories on numerous military bases and other lands across the southeastern US. More recent inventories completed include:

1. The Nature Conservancy's Sharp-Bingham Mountain Preserve. Completed in 2008.
2. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Landholdings along the Alabama River. Completed June, 2011.
3. Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, Georgia. Completed September, 2013.
4. Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama. Completed May 2021.
