This one-week residential program at Auburn University will introduce participants to the field of Computer Engineering. Campers will explore computer systems from both a hardware and software perspective, gaining coding experience using the Python programming language and computer hardware experience interfacing a state of the art handheld computing platform. Participants in the program will receive their own handheld computer and project workbook to keep so that the learning can continue after the camp ends. Students will participate in both individual and group projects while learning about career paths in computing beyond that of the traditional computer programmer and experiencing campus life at a top 100 engineering university.
