Gameday
The eagle flying before Auburn’s home football games is a tradition uniquely Auburn. Be sure to be in your seats at least 25 minutes before kickoff to ensure you arrive in time to see these flights!
Visiting the Auburn University Raptor Center
The Auburn University Raptor Center is open to the public by private appointment only. Availability varies by day and it’s best to schedule appointments as early as possible. Groups of 20 or less can be toured around the entire educational facility. Any group over 20 people can have an educational presentation at the outdoor amphitheater. Both presentations last approximately 1 hour and include an up close look at one of the eagles. The Auburn University Raptor Center is a non-profit organization and we do charge a fee to cover expenses and to aid in our education and conservation efforts. Scheduling can be done by filling out an online program request.
Football, Fans, and Feathers
Football, Fans and Feathers is a presentation put on by the Auburn University Raptor Center on the Friday’s before home football games at 4:00pm. These presentations are open to the public and are a great opportunity to visit an eagle up close. This is a free-flighted presentation that includes numerous raptors flying over the crowd. After the presentation, visitors have the opportunity to have their photos taken next to many of the raptors including the eagle! Cost of admission is $8; children 3 and under are free.
