Title IX Advisors are a resource for individuals who are involved in cases that fall under the Policy on Title IX Sexual Harassment. This team of faculty and staff are trained to provide support, guidance, and information about the Policy and the accompanying procedures. They are available to both Complainants and Respondents (“parties”), and offer step-by-step assistance to involved parties on an individual level.

The federal Title IX law protects against discrimination related to pregnancy or parental status. Protection extends to students who are pregnant or who have either had a false pregnancy, termination of pregnancy, have gone through childbirth, or are recovering from any of those conditions. Title IX regulations also prohibit a school from applying any rule related to a student’s parental, family or marital status that treats students differently based on their sex. Reach out to the Title IX Office for additional questions, review our Pregnancy and Parenting FAQs page, find lactation spaces at Auburn University, or request an accommodation.
