Business Analytics (Applications of Machine Learning Tools)
Although interest in machine learning has grown rapidly and reached a high point recently, high expectations without a deep understanding of the fundamentals of machine learning often scuttle projects before they even begin. This raises the question of how machine learning can make a real difference in an organization. This two-part course provides the most practical concepts on the subject and helps students get started building efficient machine learning.
This program is offered in person on Auburn University’s campus.

This raises the question of how machine learning can make a real difference in an organization. This class will not only provide the most practical concepts on the subject but also help students get started building efficient machine learning. The instructor will provide a theory on machine learning before introducing his open-source R coding for machine learning. Through real-world examples, students will learn methods and strategies for using different machine learning models.
Students learn about one of the most advanced computational methods as the instructor provides a theory on machine learning before introducing his open-source R coding for machine learning.
Through real-world examples, students learn methods and strategies for using different machine learning models and apply R coding naturally to real data sets in a workshop-style setting.
