Dr. Lindsay Doukopoulos is Associate Director of the Biggio Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning at Auburn University, where she leads the Biggio Teaching Unit and designs initiatives that advance teaching innovation through dialogue, experimentation, and emerging technologies. She is Co-PI on an NSF grant studying how active learning professional development supports student belonging and engagement and contributes to Auburn’s award-winning Teaching with AI initiative. A co-founder and co-host of the POD Network podcast Centering Centers, she studies and builds the professional learning ecosystems through which conversations about teaching become institutional change.

Katherine Chiou is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at The University of Alabama and Co-Director of the AI Teaching Enhancement Initiative. Her work focuses on ethics education and interdisciplinary approaches to emerging technologies. She is Principal Investigator of the NSF-funded Student Training in Responsible AI Knowledge and Ethics Research (STRAKER) project, which adapts Ethics Bowl pedagogy to help students develop ethical reasoning, research, and communication skills around AI and other complex technologies. Chiou is a longtime organizer of the Society for American Archaeology Ethics Bowl and has also worked with several professional archaeology organizations on ethics training and professional standards.
