Our Services
The Learning Glass is an innovative and adaptive learning tool used to promote student engagement by using a professional studio to record presentations with more visual appeal and high production quality. This technology combines printed text, handwritten text, drawings and illustrations, photos and video to align with several principles of multimedia learning.
The benefit of the Learning Glass technology is that it allows for the use of graphics, slides, or video content overlays to create a high-quality, engaging video. Through this technology, students have control over the pace of the content presentation. It also requires less post-production than a normal video. It can be uploaded directly to Auburn's media host (in this case Panopto), for easy distribution to the instructor's course or other websites. It is also easy to publish the final draft of a Learning Glass studio video to an online course which makes it easily accessible for students wherever they may be.

A talking head video is a recording of an instructor speaking directly to their audience by using a teleprompter with a grey or simple background. It is most used for module intro videos, course welcome videos, and short lectures. Talking Head videos benefit online course delivery through enhancing instructor presence in online learning environments which can lead to higher student engagement, increased overall satisfaction with the course, and improved student learning outcomes.
