Shawndra Bowers, M.Ed.
Short Bio
Shawndra Bowers currently serves as the Associate Director for Learning Experience Design in the Biggio Center. In this role, she provides leadership for a team focused on designing and developing high-quality instructional experiences for students, faculty, and other university stakeholders, strengthening Auburn’s institutional culture for innovative teaching and learning, and establishing Auburn as a national leader in innovative and engaging learning experience design. Bowers has spoken at numerous conferences including the BbWorld, ISTE, ICPEL (formerly NCPEA), USDLA, UPCEA, and EDUCAUSE.
Bowers joined the Auburn Online team in 2015 as the Lead Instructional Designer. She holds a BS in Business and Public Administration, a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Technology. She is currently a doctoral student working on completing a Ph.D. in Adult Education at Auburn University.
