Short Bio
Wendy Cooper-Porter joined the Auburn Online team in 2022 as Academic Programs Administrator. Wendy holds an Ed.D. degree in Education specializing in Curriculum and Instruction, a M.Ed. degree specializing in Instructional Technology, and a B.A. degree in English with a minor in Education.
Wendy is passionate about the education experience and brings over two decades of K-12 and higher education experience to Auburn University. Her professional expertise is in the areas of online learning and administration, data-driven instruction and practices, professional development, and project management. Wendy was recognized in 2018 as a "Stand Out" faculty member by the University College Alumni and recently she was named “Master Teacher of 2021” by the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA). She is a member of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) and her professional certifications include: Inclusive Learning & Social Growth (2016); Online Course Building and Facilitation (2017); Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (2021); Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Diversity & Inclusion (2021); Process Improvement Specialist (2022); and Agile Leader (2022). Wendy is married and has one daughter.
