2024 Summary of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Benefits
Effective Jan. 1, 2024, there will be a 4% premium increase for the PPO plan. The salary tier structure is also being eliminated.

Premium rates for 2024 will increase by 4% when compared to the current Tier 3 premium rates. (Employees making $40,800 or more annually currently pay Tier 3 rates.)

There is no longer a “Tier 2” for employees making $40,799 or less annually. However, these employees will receive a monthly subsidy to ensure their increase is also 4%.

ACA-mandated preventive care benefits are still 100% paid with no copay or deductible.

These rates will be effective Jan. 1, 2024. Benefits deductions are made on a pre-tax basis, thus lowering your taxable income.

Out-of-Pocket Maximum
In 2024, the annual out-of-pocket maximum will increase to $9,450 for Employee Only coverage and $18,900 for the other coverage tiers -- Employee + Spouse, Employee + Child(ren), and Family.
After the maximum is met, the plan will pay 100% of the allowed amount for the remainder of the year.
