Fulbright in the Classroom

The Office of Outreach Global hosted Fulbright in the Classroom on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Loachapoka High School in Loachapoka, Alabama. This program, led by Dr. Elizabeth Quansah, Director of Outreach Global, is in collaboration with Dr. Leslie Cordie, Associate Professor and Fulbright Core Scholar 2020-2021; Dr. Chippewa Thomas, Professor and Director of Faculty Engagement; Dr. Venus Hewing, Manager of Outreach Programs for the Center for Educational Outreach and Engagement; and Dr. Jason Bryant, Associate Clinical Professor and Director of Truman Pierce Institute.

The Fulbright in the Classroom program connects Fulbright scholars and board members with local schools to promote cross-cultural understanding and inspire global curiosity among students. Thank you to Ms. Laura Ramkorun and the amazing team at Loachapoka High School for making the 2024 experience possible.
