How long does it take to develop a new online course?
A typical three-credit course is developed over two semesters. Timelines may vary based on course complexity, media needs, accessibility work, and program goals.
Can Auburn Online help with an existing course?
Yes. Auburn Online supports existing courses through design consultations, Continuous Improvement, accessibility support, Course Launch Hackathons, and media production.
Does Auburn Online help with accessibility?
Yes. Auburn Online provides accessibility support through templates, consultations, and remediation services for Canvas courses and digital learning materials. The Biggio Center provides self-guided support resources, in-person workshops, and remediation services. This range of services is designed to meet a range of needs across campus.
Can I record videos or podcasts with Auburn Online?
Yes. Auburn Online offers studio and production support for instructional video, podcasting, Learning Glass recordings, 360° media, and other digital learning formats.
What is AUX?
AUX is Auburn’s immersive learning initiative, co-led by the Biggio Center and the Office of Information Technology. It supports faculty projects using virtual reality, augmented reality, 360° video, and related technologies for teaching and learning.
Is the TigerBytes Podcast still available?
