In rare circumstances, departments may request that existing full-time faculty members teach courses over and above their agreed-upon instructional workload, or an “overload”. In accordance with departmental workload and faculty handbook guidelines, with appropriate approvals and attestations, eligible faculty may receive additional compensation for teaching on an overload basis. DESCRIPTION: When the Overload form is approved and returned to the department, an Add Overload Job (Faculty) OVLJOB EPAF is submitted. EPAF originator emails the approved Overload form to all EPAF Approvers, referencing the EPAF Transaction Number.
