Hardware Procurement & Endpoint Support Team

The Leasing & Desktop Support team manages thousands of devices that are in use all across campus. This program has grown significantly over the years, and as of 2018 there are:

• Over 1000 people from 61 different units on campus who receive technological consulting and support from this team
• Over 3500 people with AU Lease Devices
• Over 300 new monitors and 100 new computers added across campus this year

In addition to those numbers, this team also took on several other crucial roles in 2018 such as:

• Managing the imaging services for classroom computers
• Administering the computer inventory, patching, and software distribution system
• Traveling to different units to explain the importance of safely managing personal data
• Deploying employees to Samford Hall to better support "Auburn Headquarters."
