Research Computing

In 2018, OIT continued to work with principle stakeholders across Auburn to invest in research computing resources. By the end of 2018, OIT supported approximately 500 research accounts, 80% of which come from 9 participating colleges across campus.

With the achievement of "R1" status, the focus on faculty collaboration both within Auburn's borders and with peers at elite institutions across the nation is now critical. The Office of Information Technology strives to make that possible through efforts in High Performance Computing as well as maintaining Computer Labs with many software programs available to aid in research, learning, and commitment to excellence.
